California Law Database Contract
This contract (the “Contract”) is entered into as of the date of last signature below (the “Effective Date”) by and between the California State Bar Association (the “Association”) and the California Legal Database Services (the “Service Provider”).
1. Database Access and Usage
The Service Provider shall grant the Association a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the California Law Database (the “Database”) for the purpose of legal research and practice, in accordance with the laws and regulations of the State of California and the rules of professional conduct governing the practice of law in California.
2. Database Maintenance and Updates
The Service Provider agrees to maintain and update the Database on a regular basis, ensuring that it is accurate, current, and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. The Association shall have the right to request specific updates and modifications to the Database, as needed for its legal research and practice.
3. Data Security and Confidentiality
